Within every family there are secrets - skeletons in the closet - the mysteries of the locked attic. Their mother always told them they were special girls, that the Halliwell’s were different and unique. This story started with one woman - Melinda Halliwell

The Charmed Ones took on the ‘Ultimate Power’, got Leo back and saved the world once more. With Christy Jenkins dead and the Nexus back away again things seemed like they would be back to normal, well as normal as can be for witches in the real world today. Deep in the heart of hell, monsters have been unleashed by a demon of immense strength. This ‘demon’ had unlocked the doors to hell releasing several evil beings into the real world. This act of evil has created such an unbalance in the world as the supernatural beings find themselves focusing on one point of power, one location that seems to be the hellmouth of magic and power: San Francisco.
Sam Winchester, a supernatural hunter who has been recently resurrected, had a vision of golden gate park in San Fran with numerous beings attacking a seemingly innocent blonde named Billie. Watching her get killed in his vision woke him in a cold sweat as he told his brother what he saw and that those beings seemed to be from the gates unleashed by 'the demon'. Sam however, was not the only one to have a vision, as Phoebe Halliwell had been seeing flashbacks of Dean at the crossroads followed by the mass evil released by the gates being opened.
Having being healed from her realistic psychic-projection styles visions, the sisters called down one of the elders to find out what was going on. Evil had suddenly escalated to the point of no return. The Avatars saw this as a catastrophe with one outcome; destroy anything bad and they needed to get rid of the Charmed Ones to do this effectively as last time they foiled the Utopia plot. The avatars resurrected Christy to aid in their plan as the Elders took it upon themselves to bring one person back to help the sisters. Their new whitelighter was their former dead sister Prue.
As Sam and Dean arrive to San Fran to stop this mess - and maybe find someone to help save Dean before his 12 months run out - apocalypse draws near as the underworld expand drastically and the world seems to be in need of heroes. It will take more than the Charmed Ones or the Winchesters to stop this mess. They need help, they need you! Then again join the dark side, they are winning.
