Mutation. Since the dawn of existence mutants have been regarded with fear, suspicion, often hatred. Either way, it is a historical fact, sharing the world has never been humanity defining attribute.
Charles Xavier, a genius telepath with the simple dream, a hope were mutants could live peacefully among humans, with that same dream he founded Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. A place were mutants could learn how to control their powers. He formed the X-Men, the team of unique individuals fighting a growing war to protect those humans that hate them from each other and other volatile mutant threats. Many years passed since he first founded the school. With knowledge has he helped them grow into the great beings they are now. Though with pride comes a fall, and in none other than one of his first student's who fell from grace. Dr Jean Grey, the beloved red head who became overpowered by herself and forming the Phoenix, destroying many lives before finally giving up her life, choosing death over life.
A Few Years Later...
Not soon to after Charles Xavier had to go to Genosha to try and solve the problems that were going through there, his agenda was filled with many tasks, as he was trying to solve mutant and human relationships around the glove. Soon after he departed from Genosha, was when the Safeheaven was impacked by sentinels, whom managed to kill thousands of innocent mutants lives. Genosha was now to its downfall. There wasn't much the X-men could do now, but sorrowed for their lives.
Meanwhile
The mansion had just suffered a catastrophe with the death of former member Jean Grey when they were severly attacked by Brotherhood members whom managed to destroy most of its grounds, leaving mutants without a safeheaven. The X-men did not know of Charles' well being at the moment, but the thought of his death during the incident in Genosha had afflicted their dreams of mutant and human co-existance. It wasn't till Emma Frost stepped up as the mansion's leader and re-opened the Institute with Cyclops by her side. Cyclops seemed to have trouble with the reopening of the school and so Emma attempted to continue with Xavier's dream. Luckily Emma Frost convinced Cyclops to run a new school, and with her own money they both opened up the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.
Now
The main computers from the War Room had detected a hidden base off the coast with a lot of machinary activity on it. X-men Leader Cyclops has been curious about this government fund facility. His research has led him to think of the re-opening of a Sentinel Factory. So far no mutants lives were detected on that Island but there is something unusual about it but a human sign, one they know well of.
There had been rumors about Xavier's life. Many had suggested he was able to escape the mutant assasination. Is he alive? You will have to find out.
