Milford prep was built in the late 80's by Doctor William Walker. The school was first created to do study on the teen aged youth that was born with special abilities. But the school turned from being a place of science but a safe haven for the young boys and girls. Behind the walls of this prep school they were protected from the hate the world had for them because they were different.
Years would pass by and the study of the students had ended. Instead of closing the school and sending the kids home Doctor William left it open and became head Dean of the Prep School. To protect the children from harm he made it clear to the public that this school was for the gifted and talented and that to apply to school you had to be very brilliant.
Current times...
The year is 2007 and the school year has just wrapped up. Things seem to be well for these Milford Prep students but things will be changing some see for the better while others see if for the worst. The school will now be opening their doors wider not only allowing gifted teens with power but allowing normal teens to go there as well.
Many see this as a way to bridge the gap between human and mutant. While others see this is only going to cause more trouble and could be the end of Milford Prep and any hope for a peaceful existence for anyone.
