The setting: In a small village of Ametha (also it's a fairy tale setting, so nothing modern)
A little information on Ametha: A place people (outside of the country) often think there is something wondrous about it. It’s on the small side of a country. Their religion is somewhat like Greek mythology, they have many gods and goddesses. Ametha is a magical place, like in fairy tales, though they do not believe it is. The head goddess is called Methria (which Ametha is names after). Methria had two children. Her son once fell in love with a young woman of Ametha hundreds of years ago (or so it is told), and he made himself mortal to be with her. And they were the first king and queen. So to be the ruler of Ametha, the person would have to be a descendent of the king and queen.
The problem: The young Queen Olive had sacrificed herself as a prisoner/slave to save her people. So now the village and the rest of the country is being ruled by a nearby kingdom, Belora. The village is known to be forever royal to the royal family and are being watched very carefully. They are given restrictions, no one is allowed out after dark, no one is to leave the town, no one is to have contact with the world outside them. But being Amethenians, they will not be put up to that. Though many of the older people have accepted that for the time being, many of the young people have not. And after the death of the young queen’s Adviser, they know they must do something. So they start a rebellion. They start sneaking out after dark, contacting nearby Villages and towns and figuring out a plan to rid themselves from the army of the other country.
