Gabriel walked through the grass of central park, he wanted to get away from all the busyness of New York City. It had only been Gabriel's 3rd day of school, and he decided to skip. I needed a break he kept telling himself, but he never really like his new school and figured it would take some time to get use to.
He looked over toward the lake, then over toward the swaying grass. He sighed with boredom and sat down on one of the park benches. He sat for a moment and thought about everything that came to mind. He thought of places to go, to keep him occupied for a while.

Ariel had decided to take the day off from school and just have abit of her time. Well the truth is she really couldn't be bothered to go in today. It was a rather sunny day with a gentle cool breeze, a great day for jogging. So, Ariel pulled a on a sports sky blue adidas vest top, jogging bottoms and a pair of trainers. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and began to run. She made her way towards the park, which would make the jog even more enjoyable, in a peaceful park.
Finally she was begining to become out of breath. She slowed down into a walk, breathing heavily. She sat down on the bench, not even relising there was a rather cute boy sitting there. She rested back and that was when she noticed him. She looked round and relised he looked rather familiar. "Hiya." She said slowly catching her breath. "Have I seen you somewhere before? What school do you go?" Asked Ariel trying to figure out for herself where she had seen him.

Gabriel sat back, with a sigh, and just relaxed. He had decided that later he would just walk around the city, atleast it would give him something to do. He sat there for a moment, staring into the lake down the way.
He turned his head, catching a girl in his sights. He watched as she ran down the trail, she breathed heavily and ran up toward him. She sat down, next to him, on the bench and Gabriel couldn't help but smirk.
He looked over as she exhaled a couple words to him, "Yours...." he replied back, remebering her from school. "...I've seen you around school, a couple times" he said sitting up, looking to her.

Now Ariel had caught her breath. She faced the boy more and relised he was right about seeing each other in New York high. "Oh yeah." Said Ariel remembering now. She looked out across the lake that twinkled in the sunlight and she smiled as it looked so beautiful. She turned her attention back to the boy and smiled sweetly. "Sorry I'm Ariel, Ariel Bennett." Said Ariel extending her hand for him to shake.

Gabriel watched as she zoned out, most likely thinking. He waited for a response, he looked toward the busy sounds of the city, as they seemed to grow. He turned his head back to the girl as he heard her voice, "Gabriel Foxx.." he said shaking her hand. He looked at her, noticing her clothes, "..So you skipped school to...jog?" he said with a smirk.

Ariel shook his hand with a smile and then returned it to her lap. She then notice the boy look down at her body and was slightly unsure why. Although this was answered by his next question. "Well I skipped school because I couldn't be bothered to go in today. I only cam for a jog because........well I need to stay fit and sitting infront of the t.v. won't." Said Areil with a slight shrug. "So you skipped school to sit in the park and look at the lake." Said Ariel returning the boys humor.

Gabriel looked at her as she talked, he nodded his head. "Right..that makes sense I guess" he said seeing that she was being sarcastic. "...and thats exactly what I came to do, sit in a park all day." he said smiling back at her. "Nah, but really, I got tired of school. Just needed to take a personal day".

Ariel laughed at Gabriels sarcasim. It was good he didn't take it personal. Ariel gave a slight nod as she agreed with him that she to was getting bored of school. "Yeah I can't be staying at school for to long....It needs to be more exciting." Said Ariel as she thought back to the school. She quickly shook that thought from her head. She didn't want to feel all depressed. "how long you been at the school?" Asked Ariel with an eyebrow slightly corked.

Gabriel smiled at Ariel, it was cool that he actually talked to someone out of school while he was skipping. He looked her up and down again, this time checking her out, she was kind of cute. "Oh....I started school just a couple days ago" he said replying to her question, thinking back to the boring classes and less than interesting conversations.

Another smile followed by a soft laugh formed on her face. "You only been there two days and already your skipping." Said Ariel as she laughed. She found that to be slightly funny. Normally people sarted bunking after a few months not days. Wow, he must find school really boring and she didn't blame him. Ariel stopped laughing and smiled at Gabriel. "You wanna do something?" Asked Ariel randomly.

Gabriel nodded, "Yeah, its only been a couple days, and I get bored easily", he said in reply. He stood up, as she asked her question, he thought for a moment, "Sure, what do you wanna' do" he said back.

Ariel smiled and laughed slightly. "Yeah me too. I either have an attention disorder or the school is just boring." Said Ariel jokingly. She saw Gabriel stand up and heard him answer her question. She too stood up and thought for a minute whilst thinking about what they could do. "Umm well we could either go see a movie or go swimming or if you want just hang at my place. I ain't to fussed." Said Ariel with a slight shrug.

Gabriel looked over the park, then back to Ariel, hearing her suggestion. He went over the choices in his head, A movie?...ah nothings really showing, but is a good place to skip to. Swimming?...I'd rather not, Her house?....it would be a good way to progress, but may seem too forward-ish, but she did say it was ok. He canceled his thought process and made his decision, "Would it be cool if we went to your house, if its not too personal?" he said looking revealing a small smile.

Ariel sat and waited for Gabriel to answer where he would like to go. He seemed to take a while but that was fine as she got to sit and look at the cute Gabriel for a while without having to speak. seeing his rather cute smile Ariel smiled back and nodded. "Well I asked ya round didn't I?" Said Ariel smiling. "C'mon it's this way." She said and began to walk towards her apartment. "You got an apartment Gabriel?" She asked sweetly as she looked back towards him.

Gabriel nodded his head and smiled at Ariel. She replied back, saying that it was ok, which Gabriel hoped it would be. He didn't want to come of as obnoxious, but luckily she replied in a excited/happy manner. He followed along, walking with her in the pointed direction. He slightly shifted his head, and replied, "Well I live with my mom and my sister still, at our house. But believe me, I'm looking for a place of my own". He continued to walk with her, pass the various sights of the park.
