Pandora sat on the ground of a not so lit alley, dressed completely in black, staring blankly and drinking one can of beer after another. She didn't really know how many she had, but it was enough to see blurry. Throwing it away she replayed it in her head again. It was her fault, no, it was his. The stupid fool had to defend her. Now he was dead and she was out on the street with one two bags, one with limited clothes and one with Cd's, Walkman, mp3 player and her other valuables.
It came back to her like that d@mn man threatened him, robbed his store with anything music had to offer. She liked to hand with him, but he had to play hero and now he was gone. She wasn't sure what she felt, but the anger upon seeing him shot through heart all the power she tried desperately hide from the world achieved retribution. It ran before her eyes again, the fire she shot with angry words, the man remained severely burned.
Did she felt hurt? No, it was the fact he offered her a place, food, company. Okay so maybe it was a bit more. But right now she was lost. She did what she had done in her nightmares. Harmed a human with her power. What was she supposed to do? Give herself in? No d@mn way. But now she didn't have anywhere to go and she sure as hell couldn't tell anyone about the burned man. For the first time in years, she was lost.

Alec had been searching for the retched Destined for hours now and he was growing tired of looking. Flaming from place to place wasn't really his idea of a good time. Then finally he senced it. Power much like his driven by anger and confusion. Alec smiled, hoping it was either a fellow god or a destined.
Alec then flamed into the alley where he had senced the power. There he saw nobody..except for a girl sitting on the floor with bags and looking very confused. "Hello there." he said with a smirk on his face as he approached the girl. "Now what is a pretty thing like you doing out here this late?" he asked her.

Her silent alley was all of a sudden disturbed by steps, steps of a person who had picked a very bad day to walk past. She was in a foul mood. And homeless. Looking up at the intruder she saw a hot guy with something about him the angry and violent in her at the moment related to. But something was disturbing her about him. She didn't like that. Confusion sucked, and right now she had more than she bargained for.
"Well isn't it obvious? I'm drinking away sorrows." Pandora replied to the guy's question with sarcasm, pointing to the already two empty cans of beer on the ground. Further info she would not give him, he'd have to do with that and get lost. "I could ask you the same question though. But spare me and mind your business." She snapped, currently being in bitchy mood.

Alec shrugged sencing that the girl really was almost drunk. This girl seemed to be a total..bitch for lack of a better word. Already she had snapped at him and told him to go away. Yet she wasn't worried about him being a threat to her. The back alleys of New York weren't really a safe place for a girl...but this girl wasn't normal. "Spare me the questioning freak. Im here to get rid of you destined. So join me or perish!" he yelled as flames came out of his hands and brought light to the dark alley.
Then he stopped, and put his hands down to his sides making the flames go away. No wait I have a better idea.. he thought with a smirk on his face. Then he flamed out, he went somewhere above her where he could see her but she couldn't see him. Then he summoned two of his shadowmen to attack the girl. They rose up right infront of her from the shadows. "Kill her!" Alec yelled as the monsters charged at Pandora.

Pandora received a shock when the guy shot flames from his hands, just like she could. Was she not only one who could do strange things? Before she could ask the macho jerk as he appeared to her, he was gone and two weird monsters were going at her, apparently not for a friendly chat. This reminded her of how her father abused her mother and her, she saw him in them. That brought up anger and she was on her feet, firing a stream of flame at one of them, which not only burned but exploded.
Without second thought she kicked hard the one that managed to grab and hit her hard, proceeding with a hand to hand fight worth Buffy the vampire slayer, then burning him from the inside. The creature also exploded and left Pandora stunned at what she just done. She was a killer?? She hoped not, although her morals weren't the best, she didn't want to be a killer. For the moment she completely forgotten about the guy.

Lyf saw all this through the opening in the alleyway. And she was very impressed. She clapped her hands slowly...mockingly.
She looked up and saw Alec at a far off distance. He was good!And so was this girl. Lyf wondered about her. She seemed familiar somehow. Like in a dream. A deadly and ferocious dream.
Lyf walked up to the girl and put on a look of complete shock.
"Oh my goodness!Are you okay!"Lyf said rushing to the girl. She knew what really happened, but she attempted to play it off as dumb. After all she was very persuasive...
Lyf put a hand on the girls shoulder comfortingly...

All of a sudden some other female entered the alley, bringing Pandora back to reality. Her first thoughts were that she saw and now was gonna tell, then she'd be locked up and studied like a freak. But something about this female told her that was not gonna happen. It was a weird feeling, she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"Yeah I'm fine. No face damage so everything is just peachy." She replied, looking over the woman. She was pretty, though Pandora didn't really know if this chick qualified to be as pretty as her. Who cared. As long as her powers wouldn't be revealed to the world she didn't care. Just then she remembered the guy and looked around, her blue eyes searching for him.

"What happened hon?"Lyf said smiling comfortingly. She herself knew Alec was above them and she didn't really care if thos chic saw him. It would just mena more trouble for this little girl.

Alec saw that his love was now messing with the girl. Probably making her feel at home and safe then when she least expected it she would strike. Thats what he liked about her. She could seem so innocent then in the blink of an eye she was a completely new person. A dangerous God.
Should I summon more shadowmen? Alec wondered with a grin on his face. Then he decided to just flame down next to them and 'talk' to the girl. "Hello again, love." he said with a smile. "Very good form. You handle those shadows pretty well. Ever considered being hired help?" he asked with a grin still on his face.

Lyf looked over as Alec appeared as if out of thin air.She smiled widely and flung herself upon him in a hug.
"So nice to see you again, hon."Lyf said looking up at Alec.
"What did you do to that girl?"Lyf asked pointing to Pandora.
"Is she a destined?"Lyf said with a wicked smile...

Pandora didn't know what to say to the woman when she acted all innocent and concerned, but something about her didn't click with Pandora. Then the other guy literally appeared in flames and obviously knew this woman. Pandora had to frown at the development, she didn't like surprises.But she listened to what the ego freak had to say, not knowing what the hell was he talking about.
"Hired help? To do what? Who are you freaks?" She asked with quite an explanation wanting tone. Plus these two lovebirds were really sickening her, although in a twisted way she liked the power the guy had and had to wonder if the woman had a power as well.

"I'm Lyf..."Lyf said in a disconnected tone.She looked back at Alec and smiled. This girl had power. Now if it was anyhting like theors that would be deadly..but...

Alyssa had been heading home when she passed by the alleyway and heard a familiar voice introducing herself. She stopped and peered into the alley... and indeed did see Lyf talking to a girl, who also looked familiar. She had seen her once before in the classroom where she had met many of the other Destined ones.
She veered in and walked up, a bright smile on her face. "Hey Lyf. Long time no see. And.... Pandora wasn't it? I met you in class one time." she said, hoping the girl would get the hint if she didn't recognize her.
The last person in the alley she didn't know... but just hte way he was seemed strange to her. Or maybe just arogant.

Lyf turned at hearing a faintly familiar voice. She turned around and saw a equally faintly familiar face.
"Do I know you?"Lyf said a little wickedly. She put both her hands on her hips and glared at the girl. The her eyes lit up.
"Wait!I know you!From the hall, right?The morning after that wicked awesome party?Alicia?No!Alyssa, right?"Lyf said titling her head to the side a little.
She walked over to Alec and laid her head uponhis shoulder.
"So, whats your story?"Lyf said motioning to Pandora...

Alec was about to tell Pandora basically nothin but the truth. He was going to tell her that he was the god of war and that she should join him. If she did so she would help him rule the world with the other gods. He could sence that this destined was not as pure as most destined were. Maybe there was hope for her afterall. Then a girl walked up behind them. How careless of me! I should have had shadowmen guard the entrance to the alley. he thought as he looked at Alyssa. He gave her a nod and a smile. She seemed to know both of the girls that he was with, plus there was somthing strange about her...something Destined.
She was giving off energy just like all of the others were. "My dear..." he said as he turned to look at Lyf. "..do you know that your being friendly to a destined one..right now?" he asked Aphrodite.
