Jessica walked into a secluded spot on the now quiet school grounds. She looked around to make sure she was alone. She breathed a little easier once she was sure she was alone. She set down her pink messenger bag and sunk into the hard iron lunch seat. These were the days she enjoyed. The days that she was alone and nobody noticed her. Which was how she liked it. She looked over her shoulder once more and relaxed her shoulders. She didn't know why, but she always felt at ease and so normal once she was alone. That and when she was in the water.
Jessica tilted her head a little to welcome the sunlight into her face. She suddenly, without realizing it, started singing. It was a sad melodic song. About how a lowly pirate found true love in a single kiss from a noblewoman. Jessica just let the wprds pour out of her soul and escape her lips.
It truly was a beautiful song and it seemed neverending.And Jessica knew she had a beautiful voice and she didn't like to tote it around...

Amanda walked out of the school, her blonde curls bouncing with each step. If there was one thing she really knew how to do.... it was make herself look good. And look good she usually did, especially when she changed her eyecolor to either offset or match her outfit.... though she didn't need to worry about most people questioning her, because of the wide variety of contacts available.
Today in fact, her eyes were a bright, light blue, and her outfit was white and dark green.
As she got down the stairs, singing caught Amanda's ears, though a quick look around her would show nobody. She silently followed the sound of the voice to a far more secluded spot on the grounds, and there she saw a familiar face.
"Jessica wasn't it?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. Smiling she walked closer to the girl. "You sing really well."

"Wha-?"Jessica stopped in mid-note.Her face suddenly got a very dark shade of red.She quickly turned to look away, not answering Amandas question.Of corse she knew who Amanda was. One of the pretty and popular girls at school. Everyone knew those girls. Amanda, Lyf, etc.They had a bad reputation with the loners like, Jessica herself.
Jessica quickly shoved the books back in her bag but couldn't because she was shaking so much. She just wanted to leave. Wanted to get away...
Suddenly in a puff of smoke Jessica was standing behind Amanda.
"What in the hell?"Jessica said looking around her. In front of her was Amanda's back and bouncy curls. All Jessica had to do was pull, hard.She reached out her hand , but stopped mid-way, what was this evil thought that popped in her head?This wasn't her. She quickly closed her eyes and sunk into the soft ground only to be met by the cold metal bench from previously before. The air smelled slightly of smoke...
What the f**k is going on!?!?!Jessica screamed inside her head.She looked up at Amanda giultly. Like it was her fault.

Amanda's eyes widened as smoke replaced Jessica.... and a moment later the girl was back. Granted she had been taught much about the destiny and job of the shapeshifter in regards to the Gods, but she hadn't been taught much more than the basic powers of the other gods' servants.
"You.... you're a siren?" She asked, her voice quiet with disbelief. Slowly, a grin started to replace the shock, and Amanda set her bag down. "Do you realize your potential, Jessica? A siren is a very good thing to be right now. The Gods have returned.... and we're destined to help them rise to their power."
"I, my dear..... am a shapeshifter." She leaned in slightly and changed her face to look like Jessica, an evil smirk on her lips.

"Po-Potential?"Jessica stuttered unshurly. She was freaked-out and she was scared out of her skin. And this girl wasn't helping.Jessica jumped back as she saw her face staring back at her. Only it waasn't her. It had a cruel smile to it. A smile of power. A smile of dominance.Jessica wanted that smile. To be that beautiful prowess.
"Gods?As in plural?But i thought...Wait!What is happening?What do you mean I am a siren?And your a -waht?Shapeshifter?What is going ON!"Jessica yelled, accidently letting some anger escape her. She quickly shrunk down to her normal stance and stared at Amanda...

"You poor thing.... you don't even know, do you?" Amanda sighed and straightened up, her face returning to her own.... though the smirk still remained. She sat down on the grass in front of Jessica and decided to explain it.
"WELL.... You've heard of the greek Gods... you know... Zeus, Ares, Hades, Aphrodite... all of those?"

Jessica ahook her head slowly, not knowing why Amanda was suddenly giving her the time of day.Actually phhiosophy and the Greek/Roamd gods were her best subject in history class.
"Yes, I know all about them.Everything there is to know. My favorite would have to be Ares. He's so powerful!And he could crush citys flat!And..."Jessica stopped herself and lowered her eyes.
What is wrong with me?I used to be able to keep this under control!Jessica thought with horror...

Amanda held in a glee'd chuckle as the shy girl before her revealed a darker side to her.... revealed part of the siren inside.
"What would you say if I told you.... they were real?" She rested her chin on her hand, a curious yet still arrogant expression on her face. She knew they were real, and figured inside the girl did as well.... after all, those on the Gods side had a connection to them.
"What if I told you.... I could introduce you to Ares-incarnate?"

Jessica was biting her thumb-nail with her knees drawn up to her chest.She was half listening to Amandas story until she mentioed introducing Jessica to Ares.Jessicas head shot up and her eyes were wide with hope.
"You mean...Ares. The Ares!"Jessica said jumping upon her hope.She had always developed a secret crush on Ares, though he was a fictional charaacter, until now. Jessica closed her eyes and a smile lit up her face. She was standing beside Ares as a giant city was burning to the ground.It was amazing.
Jessica regained her composure and stared at Amanda with a look of defiance.
"Show me."was all she said.

Amanda let out a slight sigh and stood up. "I'm afraid seeing Ares won't be quite that easy.... not unless he needs you for something."
She motioned with her hand, a slight twirling motion. "You see......... to get to Ares.... you have to go through Aphrodite... and be approved. After all... those two share a special..."
She put her pinky in the air and smirked slightly. "Bond."
She walked towards jessica again and grinned. "But there area few besides her you can meet...... theres Persephone.... Hades, though he's not generally friendly, Gaia.... a whole bunch."

She smirked slightly. "I suppose... that would be up to the god themselves... but with a pretty girl like you I don't think they'd mind." She said with a soft chuckle.
Amanda leaned back, resting her hands into the grass. "I suppose it depends on your powers. With me... I can benefit any of the gods because i can turn into anybody and almost anything."
She shifted her weight. "So whoever you can benefit most will probably want you. probably."
