Lilith trudged slowly across the grass, putting as much distance between herself and building as possible, without actually leaving the school grounds.
As she waited for her aun, she slumped to the ground, feeling better the closer to the grass she got. Soon she was sprawled out across it on her stomache. She smirked to herself as she thought of her aunt's response to the position and the enivitable stains.
She sighed softly, and wondered about her new power over plants. She began to twirl her fingers amongst the grass, and noticed it reacted differently than it used to. It seemed to follow her fingers without her touching it, and its color deepened. Before she had a chance to think more about it, a shadow fell across her, and she sat quickly up, looking for the owner, and what they could possibly want.

Lauren was out for her morning jog. She would do this every saturday. Just something to keep her in shape. As she jogged around the ground she saw a girl lying face down on the ground. Her first thought was that the poor girl had passed out. Lauren ran over towards the girl but slowed to a walk when she saw the girls hands moving. A sigh of relief Lauren walked over. Lauren stood looking down at the girl. It seemed weird that she was lying on her belly. Most people lie on their backs and stare up into the clouds. Not face down. "You alright?" She asked with a confused expression on her face. OOC:No muse either.

"Yeah, fine. JUst waiting on someone," Lilith replied quietly, as she manuvered herself into a comfortable sitting posistion. She looked down at her clothes, and was releived she wouldn't have yet another argument with her aunt about it. It seemed like that was all they did anymore, argue about clothes, friends, and hobbies.
She sighed a bit, and the looked back to the girl. She was sure she had seen ehr, but couldn't place her. Probably school, she never paid much attention to the people there.
"I'm Lilith. I think I have seen you around, but I missed your name," she said, hoping she wasn't another of the snotty wannabe queens.

Lauren gave a nod and a friendly smile. She was glad to hear that the girl was ok and hadn't passed out or anything. Lauren glanced around the grounds before turning her attention back to the girl who was now introducing herself. "Oh it's nice to meet you Lilith. I'm Lauren Winters but most people call me Lozzy." Said Lauren as she held out her hand for Lilth to shake.

Lilith nodded as she reached up and shook the girls hand.
Lozzy she thought with a small smile. Not likely to ever know her well enough to use the cute nickname, but it was nice for the other girl to offer.
"The feelings mutual," she said softly as she pushed herself to her feet. She scanned the streets, and realized that yet again her aunt had stood her up. Nothing knew, but still annoying. She turned to Lauren suddenly, and asked her a question of the blue. The words all came out in one hurried breath, like if she didn't ask fast, she wouldn't ask at all. "You know your way around very well?"

Lauren smiled at Lilith and then returned her hand to her side once the two had shook hands. She watched as the girl got up and looked around for someone. Lauren guessed she had been stood up then. Lauren heard the Lilith ask her a question rather quickly but she got it. She smiled and gave a slight nod. "Yeah kinda. Why you wanna go for a wonder?" Asked Lauren.

She laughed softly, shrugging before she answered.
"I just want to get out of here and would rather not get lost," she said, with the same soft laughter. She didn't care whether she made it back, made it home, or made it to some place fun, as long as she knew eventually how to get home. She wasn't comfortable with the city, and wasn't sure she felt the need to aquaint herself with it at all. For her, the city was a place t go to school, and put childhood behind her.

Lauren gave a nod and started walking next to Lilith. Maybe she could show her around abit, so she gets familiar with some of the surroundings, which would be helpfull for Lilith if she ever decided to go out on her own again. "This place is actually kinda small once you have some idea of where your going." Said Lauren with a slight shrug.
The girls continued to walk in silence for abit and then Lauren decided to break that silence with a simple question. "So Lilith when did you arrive here?" She asked in a pleasent tone.

Lilith was lost in random thoughts, as she made notes of her surroundings, and also just enjoyed being away from one coffin-like building that was as smae as the next, when Lauren's voice broke through them, and brought her back to reality.
"About three months ago," she replied shrugging. She quickly thought of the reasons she moved,a nd also of how her parents and aunt had acted. Hoping to change the subject a bit from herself, she asked, "You a lifer?"

Lauren raised her eyebrow slightly when Lilith told her she had been there for three months now. It was surprising she didn't know her way around the school but it was better late than never. "Yeah I've been here since I graduated Junior high." Said Lauren. Lauren only had one more year left until she graduated high school, which she was rather looking forward to. "So how are you liking the school. I find it to be rather boring. I prefer to be outside. I feel more free." Said Lauren. Lauren was a very outgoing and couldn't be inside for too long. She would go out of her mind if she was in every day of the week.

As Lilith listened to her ask about school, she grimaced. To be completely homest, she hated school, and didn't see the point. She already knew more about the Earth than her Earth Science teacher, although she couldn't say how she knew. She also felt like correcting her World History teacher so much of the time, but had no way to back up those facts either. But she knew in her heart they were true.
Instead of answering, she simply shrugged.
"I suppose I have nothing better to do," she answered. "But I do agree with you about being inside, I always feel caged up."

Lauren smiled as she had met someone who has a similar personality to hers. Someone who likes to be wild and free. The two girls rounded a corner of the school grounds which was kind of over grown but not too badly over grown. "This is where couples usually come and make out. It's lesson time now so not many will be seen here." Said Lauren. There were a few students plodded around the grounds as they most likely had a free period like Lauren did at the moment. "Talking about couples, you got a boyfriend?" Asked Lauren casually. She was sometimes rather nosey.

Lilith's eyes widened as soon she caught sight of the not so well tended area. She once again felt a feeling she didn't know what to do with. It was an undescribable emoition, something like an urge, or need, to lose herself in the plantlife. To crawl upon the ground with it, wrap it around herself as she wrapped herself around it.
She blinked several times, hoping the thoughts and emotions were not written upon her face. She had no control over the images her mind produced, or her emotions lately, and she didn't like it.
She heard Lauren speaking, and pulled herself from her own thoughts, trying to drag herself to the other girl's voice. The words finally began to form in her ears, as she heard the word boyfriend. Inwardly, she grimaced. Didn't have one, didn't need one, she thought. But instead of just stating it plainly, as she normally would, she felt like just talking.
"Nope, not for me," she said, with a small smile playing around her mouth. "You?"

Lauren continued to walk through the over grown part of the school grounds. Luckily for Lilith and Lauren there were no couples groping each other and kissing. It wasn't something Lauren wanted to see. Once the girls were past the over grown section of the grounds they continued to the forest part. It was directly behind the school.
Lauren looked back at Lilith when she asked her if she had a boyfriend. She too was single. "Nope, I'm a free agent to." Said Lauren with a slight laugh. "I don't know if I have asked you this already but what do you do in your free time?" Asked Lauren looking up at the slightly grey sky.

Lilith had been moving slowly through the overgrown patch of vegetation, enjoying the strange bridled wildness she felt in it, but picked up the pace a bit when she noticed that Lauren was a good distance ahead of her.
"Not much, basically just hang out at my aunt's place," she replied, catching up. As soon as her eyes lit on the wooded area, she trailed off, not realizing that in her hurry to ignore the entire place, she had missed the oppurtunity to enjoy it. She smiled as she thought f the fun the forest was sure to hold,and then turned back to Lauren.
"You know, the usual, listen to music, channel surf, read, and I like to take care of her little garden," she said, sharing more than she normally would, but for soem reason, found no reason not to. "How about you?"
