Alex had arranged to meet Lauren in central park earlier that day. Alex decided to go to the park a little earlier than the time agreed incase she did the same. As he arrived at the park he saw that it wasn't too busy. That was good for the likely topic that would come up. He decided to go to a bench under a big ash tree and sit there and wait for Lauren to turn up.

Lauren got out of the shower and saw the little red light on the phone was flashing. She walked over to the phone and pressed play. It was a voicemail from Alex. He had asked her to meet up with him in central park. Lauren smiled and deleted the message once she had listened to it. Lauren thn walked into her bedroom and pulled on a light blue denim skirt and a white vest top. It was arather warm day which put Lauren in a summery mood. Once she was fully clothed she start to curl her hair into loose ringlets then put half hair back to keep it out of her eyes. She put on a light layer of make up and then made her way out the door.
After about ten minutes Lauren found herself walking through Central Park. She remembered back to the voice mail, about meeting on a bench under the ashwood tree. Lauren scanned the park and could see a figure sitting under the tree. Lauren smiled and walked towards Alex. "Hi Alex." Said Lauren cheerfully. She walked over and sat down next to him. "You alright?" She asked casually.

Alex stood up as Lauren came over he gave her a quick hug and sat down beside her. "Hey how ya been." he said happily. Me I'm fine nothing to complain about anyway. So whats new." he all saic rather quickly. As is was really sunny Alex took off his denim jacket.

Lauren was a little surprised that she had recieved a hug, still it was nice and she hugged him back. "Nothing new really, oh actually there is." Said Lauren. She looked around to make sure there was no one sitting near them. "The other day when I was at home I discovered I had another power. I looked it up on the net, Sonic scream, i think thats what it is called. Apparently I'll be able to scream so loud in such a high pitch that it can burst someones ear drums." Said Lauren as she sat back up right. "Luckily I didn't that time. The spider wasn't to big so I didn't scream that loud." Said Lauren with a slight sigh. "You got any news?" She asked looking back at Alex with a smile.

Alex was a bit taken aback as he heard Lauren tell him about her new power. "Well ...thats cool. I think but please don't get over excited around me. I do like to hear you know." he said laughing. "Well no nothing new with me. I have just been practising my Telekinesis and body stuff." he still hadn't found out what is other ability was called or what it could let him fully do. "Oh hey watch this.2 he said all excited. His eyes went out of focus and he levitated a little. "I learned that I can make my body levitate or fly by concentrating my power on my body. It makes me whonder what else I could do."

Lauren tilted her head slightly and then laughed. "I'll try." Said Lauren giving Alex a playful tap on the arm. She turned to face Alex as she watched him levitate a few inches off of the bench. "That is so cool. When did you figure that out?" Asked Lauren really impressed.

"I figured it out when me and Rowan Archer were attacked by Ares. But then this morning when I fell out of bed. So can you vary the pitch of your scream or is just so it will deafen anyone in the vacinity. " Alex looked around seeing other people laughing enjoying themseves and loving life and this made him appreciate it more. "Oh so are there any developments on your not being able to die thing."

Lauren laughed a little. "I'm too scared to even try and scream louder." Said Lauren watching the people around them having fun. She looked back to Alex when he asked her about her Spontanious Regeneration power. "No not yet. You know I was thinking, because I don't have an offensive power, apart from the scream I was thinking of taking up Martial Arts so I can protect myself better." Said Lauren as she looked back up at Alex.

"Ya that sounds like a good idea. Do you know what art you are going to take. Things like Judo are throw based while karate is probably the traditional, Tae Kwon Do is a very fast paced one and Kung Fu is Kung Fu." Alex then stood up. "Come on lets go for a walk." he said holding out her hand for her to take

Lauren sat there for a moment thinking about all the different types of fighting she could take up. There were so many she didn't know what one to choose now. "Hmm I don't know but thanks I can research them a little better and see which one take my fancy." Said Lauren with a friendly smile. The next thing Lauren knew she saw Alex stand up asking her to go for a walk. Lauren nodded and took hold of Alex's hand, then stood up. "Where abouts you wanna walk?" She asked softly.

"We don't have to plan where to walk. Its a lovely day how about we just walk." He started to walk but got a resistance. He looked back and realised that he has still holding Lauren's hand. "Oh sorry. " he said a little embarressed.

Lauren looked round, it was a nice day, really nice day actually. For the last few days it had been rather cloudly and they did have a slight rain but now they had sun. "Yeah beautiful init." Said Lauren as she looked up into the sky. Summer was her favourite month, especially when the weather was perfect like today. She felt Alex stop abit she looked round and felt him remove his hand from hers. She gave a slight embarressed giggle. "It's ok." Said Lauren as she brushed a strand of her behind her ear. "You know what would be great on a day like this.......A water fight." Said Lauren with a laugh. "I remember having them as a kid in the garden with a few of my close mates.......I miss those days." Said Lauren with a happy sigh.

Alex smiled as Lauren suggested that they have a water fight. "Are you kidding I would totally kick your butt in a water fight. At least your power cant protect you from that." he said while secretly using his telekinesis to bring an orb of water from athe pond beside them and threw it at her hitting her smack in the face. He then burst out laughing while clutching his stomach.

Lauren wiped her face and smiled as she watched Alex laughing. As he laughed Lauren looked behind him and saw that the pond was only a few feet away. An idea hit her and she slowly started to walk over to Alex smiling seductivly at him. When she was close enough she placed her hands on his chest and began walking him backwards whilst talking to him. "You know Alex your kinda cute, I can't believe I never noticed it before." Said Lauren still walking him backwards slowly. Once she had him near the edge she stopped walking and spoke again. "But I think you should cool off." Said Lauren and with that she pushed him backwards and laughed histerically as he fell in.

Alex was a bit taken aback as Lauren started to come on to him but he realised she wasn't as she pushed him into the pond. Alex quickly burst out of the water soaked. "Ooo you little." he said with a large smirk on his face. He then made Lauren levitate over to him and then plonked her in the water beside him. "Ha even now."
