Lilith had awoken that morning, with a start, full of the need to get away. As soon as she had thrown on the old jeans, and loose peasant top, she had scrawled a note to her aunt, and bolted. She had no clear destination in mind, but also didn't want ot be anywhere she had been before. New scenery, and something to clear her mind.
After several hours, of meandering around the city, she came to the shore, and spotted the ferry. She grinned for some reason, and rushed onto it. She knew where it went, and had never felt the need to see it before, but as the clouds cleared back, and she saw her first glimpse of the magnificent sight, as she leaned over the railing, waiting for the ferry to embark, she let out a peaceful sigh.

Christan woke up with a start at early hours. The house was too quiet and the day looked as if it was going to be a great day. Without hesitation, put on his jeans and a beat up old t-shirt and head out of the house. He didn't even bother to leave any notes, thinking he would be back before anyone in the house would wake up. Even if they do wake up before he returned, he doubted that anyone would realize that he was gone, given the fact he was much a loner and pretty much no one noticed that he is around most of the time.
He spent a few good hours walking around the city, stopping every now and then, filling his stomach with any junks he could find, that was until he reach to the shore. He spotted a ferry pulling into view. He waited for a moment, finishing the cold ice cream in his hand before deciding to go on a ride. He rushed, running towards the ferry, making it just in time.

Lilith sighed once again, closing her eyes as she turned sharply from the veiw. She scanned the ferry, curious of the other passengers. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, just something to distract from the feeling in her heart. And from the pull and draw of the horizon.
She shoved herself from the railing with a sharp exhale of breath, and started walking. She again had no destination in mind, but felt like she needed to find somewhere to be, away from here and everything here.
As she rounded a corner, her thoughts turned inward, she bumped into another person. "Sorry," she breathed, as her face turned a deep crimson, and she backed up, bumping against the corner she had just rounded.

Christan watched the world move around him as the ferry move. The view was something interesting to watch. Somewhere nearby where he was standing a group of elderly, which he assumed to be visitors were taking pictures and talking cheerfully. He tried to shut his ears from eavesdropping into their conversation. Beyond that, he could hear young children running around and parents chasing after their kids. He didn't even bother to turn around to watch what was going on on the ferry, his gaze was perfectly fixed to the world that move around the ferry.
Suddenly, Christan was knocked of a couple steps back, someone had run into him and was apologizing too quickly for him to even begin to sort what was going on. One moment he was watching the world move, the next someone bumped into him. It took him a moment to search for the face of the one who had bumped into him before his eyes finally lay on a deep crimson face in front of him. "Uhh... That's ok..." He said awkwardly, clearing his throat.

Lilith shook her head lightly, trying to banish her embarrasment, as well as buy a bit of time. She laughed nervously, and then feeling at a complete loss for the first time, she tried to decide on whether to simly walk away, or say something. She normally didn't care a bit about what everyone else thought, but running someone over, was just rude. She finally decided on neither, a course of inaction, to let it fade.
She stepped up to the rail next to him, and gazed out over the water, hoping that the embarassment of the moment would just disappear, and he would chose the next move.

Christan could sense that he might have indirectly embarrass the girl that bumped into him. Even if it was not his mistake to begin with. Christan feel obligated to ensure the girl would not feel they way she did. "It could happen to anyone." He tried to speak, sounding very alien even to him. Christan doesn't start any conversation. He doesn't hang out and he doesn't have close friends. He had always just live in his own world on his own. It was strange for him to begin a subtle hint to make a conversation.
His eyes darted over, the ferry sounded more organize as the sound of young children running around die out. But, there were still sounds of people chattering around which seemed to be oblivious of their surrounding. "I don't think anyone noticed." He added attempting to make the girl feel better.

When Lilith realized that he wasn't going to freak out, she shrugged uit all of. It didn't matter what he thought, but it bothered her that she had actually let herself run him over. She laughed softly as he said no one noticed. Not that she would have cared if they did.
"Now that I have practically knocked you overboard," she said, pausing as she turned ot look at him. "I guess introductions are in order. I'm Lilith."

The world around was still moving, actually the ferry was. Christan awkwardly trying not to make a fool of himself. He was relieved when the girl spoken back to him and introduce herself to him. He faked a coughing laugh at her remark about knocking him overboard before adding, "Christan." Awkwardly. He stared at his shoes for a good two minutes before starting to speak again. "So... Enjoying the scenery?" He blurted out slowly and most hesitantly.
Somewhere at the bottom of his consciousness he realized how the time flies and by now the occupant of the house, his father had force them to call home for several months, should have been up. His father would have woken up first, followed by his twin sister.

She watched his emotions across his face, actually learning more from his expression than his words. Shrugging, she glanced back out across the water, watching the ebb and flow of it for several moments.
"It's interesting," she said softly, and then turned back to him. "But yet, could be so much better."
She smirked as she heard her own comment, and then returned her gaze over the side. Something about the water, something in it captured her attention. It called to her, drawing her in, so inviting, but at the same time, she knew how feirce and scary it could be. She shook her head slightly, to break the daze she felt over herself,a nd spoke.
"So, are you here for the scenery, or did something else draw you?" she asked, without breaking her gaze on the water.

Christan trying to keep his expression stoned and fixed. It was difficult, given he kept shrugging and giving an awkward answers that infected his expression as he said it. It was a dreadful time for him and he almost cursed himself for choosing against his better judgment. He tucked his hands into his pocket jeans, slouching a little. He turned his head to left and right, a moment each time just to shake off the awkward feeling that seemed to build up instead of dying down. "Better? It's a nice day..." He said, trying not to sound offensive or defensive, leaving his statement rather flat.
"Uhh... I just feel like walking..." Christan replied, uninterestedly. He wasn't sure what made him get out of the house at early hours and take the ferry. He was just following where his feet led him and so far, it had led him there. Later, he's not sure.

She nodded at his comment, and then let her gaze settle upon him. She looked at him intently, before she smirked and shrugged.
"The day is beautiful, just the scenery could improve," she said quietly, and then dismissed it with a shake of her head. She projected easy indifference, without even thinking about it, but she showed it mainly through her body language. "Same here, nothing better to do, and ended up here."

Christan felt hot around the collar, not used to people looking at him longer than ten seconds. He tried not to choke and pretended that everything was alright. Pulling the cool act, now that would be impossible since he knows nothing about being cool. He just know how to be himself and judging by the situation, that could turn everything to worse. He coughed slightly at Lilith's remark. "Uh-huh..." He said, unsure if there was anything else he could say. He tried so hard not to look at his feet, but even when he tried, he can't help but kept looking at his shoes.
The moment seemed to be a dreadful way to spent time. Christan doesn't mix and trying to be nice and mix around with even a person was somewhat an impossible task. The only thing he could keep on doing is to keep his opinion to himself and try not to offend anyone.

Lilith watched him with a quirked eyebrow, notcing immediatly that he seemed very uncomfortalbe. Most people were around her, but not usually this bad. He almost seemed to be trying to disappear.
She laughed softly under her breath, and wondered exactly what he thought of her. It didn't make much difference to her, the only opninion that counted to her was her own.
She shoved away from the railing quickly, and turned around, watching the receding city. It wasn't much further out to the island, and she suddenly felt the need to move, to go. Being trapped on this boat was not what she had hoped for as she began wandering that morning.
To take her mind of off the feeling, she jerked her attention back to Chris.
"Okay, so, do you have a problem with me? Or is this a normal conversation in your world?" she asked. She triend not to put any vemon in her voice, as she was really just tesing, but wanted to know anyway.
