"How would you say it?Life or leaf?"Lyf said making conversation.
She hugged onto his arm a little tighter. This felt so normal to her. She relaxed a bit and looked up at him.
"Dirty south huh?That sounds so...welll dirty!How was it?Big difference huh?"Lyf said flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"Yeah Leaf." he said with a slight chuckle.
Then he felt her tighten the grip on his arm. It felt normal and comfortable..yet he had only met this girl a couple of minutes ago. This was defenetly wierd..but still nice. "Oh yea it was really dirty...plus having an ass for dad and a whore for a mom didn't help..." he said in a bit of a sarcastic sad tone. Why had he shared that with her? He never shared... hmm wierd. He then stopped walking and let go of her arm slightly. "Im sorry....I dont usually talk about that stuff..." he said to her with a solemn look in his face. No anger..wierd yet again.

"Well, you're wrong. It's said like Life."Lyf said smiling. This all felt so normal and mainstream. Lyf laid her head on Alecs shoulder.She hoped he didn't think her a sleeper for accepting his company so soon.When he let go of her arm and spun her to face him, she felt a slight blush creep upon her cheek.
The words that came out of his mouth were sp heartfelt. But Lyf couldn't concentrate on the words. Just his face. Or more correctly, his lips. Lyf imagined those lips touching hers. The muscle go out of her body. The rushing sensation...
"Wha-?Oh!Please!It's perfectly okay!"Lyf said smiling flirtily up at Alec.

Alec smiled when he heard Lyf talk about her name. "Okay. Life it is." he said with a smile on his face. "Im just not used to sharing things like that...with anyone..and I just met you like twenty minutes ago...I dont know why I feel the way feel about you already.." he said to her. He couldn't help looking at her eyes...and at her mouth. She was so beautiful..he just couldn't help himself... he leaned in for a kiss..a kiss from a girl he had only just met...

Lyf welcomed Alecs kiss as she had never welcomed anything before. It just felt so right. So moving. So familiar.....
Aphrodite walked up to Ares wearing his favorite outfit. A loose fitting wrap that was red. Her hair was piled up on top of her head. And there waas a crown atop it. She had a bangle on her arm. Ares had given it to her. It was of a dragon and made of gold. SHe stepped up to him and wrapped a arm around his neck.
"I waited for you..."Aphrodite said sexily. She draped her other arm, ever so delicatly, around hie neck.
"Did you miss me??"she said with puppy dog eyes. She leaned in and kissed him. Hard. And in that kiss was every emotion known to them.Passion, kindness, hate, sadness, anger.....

Alec's lips met Lyf's and it was as if an explosion of energy had flowed through both of them. It was like a vision of...something..somewhere was flowing into Alec's mind..and by the looks of Lyf's face into her also. Alec could see himself dressed in very wierd looking greek close..and Lyf..well he had called her Aphrodite..was wearing something very sexy and a crown... it was such a vivid picture. He could feel the kisses between them..the love...the hate..the struggle..and then he heard something from the memory that he had not expected to hear.
Lyf/Aphrodite had called him Ares..Ares as in the God of Savage war. Holy Crap...this is too much.. he thought as he pulled away from her lips. "What the hell was that?!" he asked her with a very concerned voice. He knew he had powers, he knew he could summon shadowmen, he knew about others who had fought him with powers but...he had never actually...had a vision...of any kind. "That was freaky..were you Aphrodite.." he said and once he said her name it felt normal..it felt like it belonged to her..wierd..

"Was?Don't you mean is?"Lyf said very controlled. Then it hit her. She had a vision. That propelled energy when hers and Alecs lips meant was unbeleivable.
"What the hell was that?"Lyf said shaking her head. She looked up at Alec with a worried expression.
"Are we on drugs?Because let me tell you!That's a new one for me!Did you see my outfit!?I was from, like, the Roman or Greek times. And you!You were wearing...such...and you...wereo strong...and....so ....good-looking....and HOT!"Lyf said stuttering.
"I called you Ares!As in the war od,right?Ares!?!?!"Lyf said holding her head.
"I-I need to sit!"she said as she promptly sat down on the curb adn shook her head.

Alec couldn't help agreeing. "Yeah Im gonna sit too." he said as he sat on the ground. "I dont know what the hell that was..but I like it.." he said as he looked at her. He had looked so powerful in the vision and she had looked so beautiful. "Was the vision bad? I dont think it was.. It was just strange..but you looked beautiful in it...and I looked...powerful..and it looked like..like we loved each other.." he said to her and as soon as he said it he wished he could take it back. He didn't like to say the word love. It was something that he didn't get from anyone so why should he say it..
Then a thought came into his mind. If he was Ares it would explain his powers..but did Lyf have powers also? If she was Aphrodite..then she had to have powers.. "Lyf? Do you have..any special abilities?" he asked her.

Lyf smiled and blushed a little when he said she looked beautiful. She knew he was right, about the appearences. And they did look like they had loved each other.
"You did look powerful. And so strong. Did you see what I was wearing?I HAVE to find that!It was amazing!And...I think it was supposed to happen..."Lyf said as she grabbed Alecs hand and held it in her own.
When Alec said they were in love she blushed a little deeper.
"Maybe we-ur-they are in love. Does that mean...us?"Lyf said as she looked in his eyes.
Lyf drifted away for a moment. In her own mind. She was imagining her and Alec. On a balcony of a beautiful mansion. He was holding her and they were staring out at the rippling ocean. In the far distance a fire burned. She was quickly pulled from her reality when Alec asked if she had any powers.
"What?Uh--why do you ask?I mean...", she just couldn't bring herself to lie to him. She got lost in his eyes., "Yes. I'm afraid I do...."she said without meaning to..

"Hmm really? What type? Cuz....I also have powers...and Im guessing that has something to do with the whole vision thing.." Alec said to Lyf. He was looking straight into her beautiful eyes and he already knew what type of powers she had. If she had Aphrodites powers then she was all about love...unlike Alec. His powers were based on hate, and fire... maybe it was true what people said..opposites attract.

Lyf tore herself away from Alecs gaze. "Well, I can seem to persuade people. Kinda. Which I really hope I didn't to you. But that may have played a part in it. I can mind deflect. Though only like a rock or soda can. And that's all I know of now.What about you...Ares?"Lyf said without realizing what she called him. She laid her head on his shoulder. It felt so natural. Like almost routine. She decided to let go of her feelings and go with the flow.

Alec didn't like what he was hearing. He didn't mind that she had powers, but the fact that she had powers that could manipulate him bothered him. However, he didn't feel that..he didn't feel controled by her in any way. In fact when she finished telling him her powers and laid her hand on his shoulder it made him feel at home somehow. Like it was meant to be. Also the fact that she had called him Ares didn't face him one bit.
"Aphrodite... my powers..are of fire and chaos... unlike yours." he said to her as he leaned into her again and gave her another kiss. This time no memories came into his head. It wa sjust a kiss a kiss not between Lyf and Alec but between Aphrodite and Ares.

Lyf didn't fight back when Alec turned to kiss her again. She welcomed. It felt so normal. Like she had done it every day. When they parted she looked behind her at the passing people.
"Do you think we're the only ones?"Lyf said,
"I mean...as far as the powers go...do you think we're it?"
She placed her hand in his so unknowingly, she didn't even realize she was doing it...

Alec held her hands tight and looked into her eyes thne shook his head as he heard her question. "No I dont think so...Im sure the others are up and walking around as well.. you know Gaia, Hades and probably Zeus." he said with a slight shruder as he remembered the dislike he had felt for many of the other gods. He didn't really like all the other gods because...well they just really didn't like him..it wasn't his choice..
"My love...we have to find them.. already mere children have stood up to me with powers like ours... I think they were the destined..." he said yet Alec had no idea why he was talking like that...children? Those kids were about the same age as him...wierd..

Lyf smiled contedly as she rested her head on Alecs shoulder.
"Actually to be completely honest with you, I know some others who have powers like ours. Well, not exact duplicates, but they have their own powers..."Lyf said not even caring that she was disobeying Alex's orders.
"We can take them. Or if anything, you can take all those other gods....they are nothing compared to you!Your too strong...too powerful for them!"Lyf said smling....
