As Lauren screamed slightly as she was all of a sudden lifted in the iar and plonked into the pond next to Alex. She splashed him playfully and laughed. "That wasn't fair, because you have an active power and I don't." Said Lauren pretend to sulk about. She stuck her tounge out at him and then splashed him again still laughing.

Alex started to laugh herd and splash Lauren at the same time. "Uh ya you do have an active power. What about that scream thing you still have to demonstrate." Alex then kicked more water at Lauren.

Lauren grinned and splashed Alex back. She stopped splashing him when he mentioned about her ability of sonic scream. "Ooo you asked for it now." Said Lauren jokingly. She looked around to make sure there was no one walking past that she would possibly accidently trigger a heart attack. Lauren faced back round to Alex when the coast was clear and let out a scream. It wasn't loud enough to do any damage to anyone but it was still really loud and a high pitch. She screamed for a few seconds and then stopped. She could here a few dogs in the distance barking which made her laugh. "And that ain't the loudest." Said Lauren as she splashed some water at Alex.

Alex clapped his hands over his ears as Lauren started to scream. "Ok I get it." he shouted to her but it was drowned by the power of her voice. Once she stopped he let go of his ears but they rang a little. He also laughed as he heard the dogs bark. "thats um...Thats really something." he said sticking his finger in his ear and moving it around. Alex then caught Lauren hand as she started to splash him again. "Hey come on lets try and get dry." he said leading her over to the edge of the pond.

Lauren laughed as she watched Alex try to clear his eyes of the scream she had just shown him. "Sorry." She said with a broad smile. The next thing she felt was Alexs hand around hers she held onto his and nodded as she agreed it to be a good time to dry off. Once at the edge of the pond Lauren pulled herself out and then rung her hair out as she waited for Alex to get out. "Well that was fun." Said Lauren with a smile as she went and sat down on the warm grass in the sun. She patted a spot next to her to indicate to Alex to cme and join her on the grass. "You know your really cool Alex. I regret us not getting to know each other earlier on." Said Lauren as she wished she had started speaking to him before.

Alex got out behind Lauren and took off his t-shirt and rung out the water. He placed it out on the grass and lay down near Lauren. "Well thank you Lauren. Your not so bad yourself." he said with a cheeky smirk on his face. "Ya but you had your friends I had mine. we never had any reason to speak to each other I suppose."

Lauren watched as Alex took his t-shirt off. 'Nice body' thought Lauren. She quickly shook the thought from her head as Alex started talking to her again. She didn't really want to catch her staring at his torso. Lauren leaned back on her forearms and looked at Alex as he spoke. "Yeah I guess thats true. It's weird how cliques work init?" Said Lauren as she layed back next to him. Lauren stared up at the clouds as she continued to speak to Alex. "What was it like for you when you discovered about your powers?" Asked Lauren as she looked back at him.

Alex had been looking at Lauren as they spoke but as she looked into the clouds he did the same. "I was pretty ok I suppose. I mean I was a bit shocked at what I could do but then I realised exactly what I could do. How did you take it." he asked and brushed some hair from his face.

Lauren took in a breath and then let it out slowly. "Well I kinda freaked out abit. I discovered my powers the day I told you about the SR type of power remember, but after I got home and had a thought I relised it was kinda cool. So I'm totally fine with it." Said Lauren with a smile. Again Lauren diverted her attention upinto the clouds. She saw a cloud that resembled a rabbit she pointed up towards it and spoke. "A rabbit." Said Lauren with a slight laugh.

Alex chuucked lightly as Lauren pointed out the cloud shape. "Sheep" he said without pointing as all the clouds looked like fluffy sheep. "So do you hang around with your friends anymore. Have you told any of them." Alex had now propped his head onto his arm and was looking into Laurens eyes again

Lauren laughed softly at Alex statement that the clouds all look like sheep. She heard him speak and so she looked up and answered his question. "No I haven't told them and I don't really hang around with them anymore. I mean I still talk to them. I just think they won't get me." Said Lauren with a soft smile as she looked up into Alex eyes. "It's kinda hard admitting you have powers to people who most likely don't. What about you? have you told anyone?" Asked Lauren still looking up into Alex eyes.

Alex sighed "No I havent told anyone yet. It would just freak them out." Alex smiled and tried to lighten the mood. "So Lauren tell me more about yourself besides the obvious."

Lauren nodded her head, she knew the feeling about not being able to bring yourself to tell the people you love most who you are. Lauren didn't want to scare her parents or friends and she didn't want to be an outcast or known as the school freak, this is why Lauren kept her mouth shut about everything. The blonde then propped herself up on her side so her head was now level with Alexs. Laying down she felt tiny even though she is kind of short. "Ok, well what do you want to know about me?" Asked Lauren as she didn't want to go just rambling on about herself and then come across all self obsorbed.

Lauren was taken back abit when she heard Alex say she was beautiful. She smiled softly and blushed slightly. "Ok umm well I like to try new things, you be spontanious, I'm outgoing love clubbing so i guess you can say I'm kinda wild but not overly wild that no one can handle me." Said Lauren with a little laugh. "Umm I love snow boarding and more often than not I go cananda to do that. Me and my family go there for christmas it's really good there. I'm an animal lover, so whenever I see a cute baby animal I just melt, so I guess you can call me a softie really." Said Lauren with another small laugh. She stopped for a moment thinking back to what Alex said before she started speaking. "So you think I'm beautiful?" Said Lauren with an eyebrow slightly raised and a smile on her face.
