So trying to talk her brother into hanging out with her didn't work. Although she kind of expected him not to want to hang out with her. She found her brother to be very isolated and she had no idea why. Ariel quickly shook the thought from her head and walked into the mall. She hadn't been here in a while and was interested to see what it had this month. Ariel tugged her bag further over her shoulder and continued to walk further into the mall, that was when she felt her bag vibrating. She sighed slightly as she unzipped her bag and started digging around in there for her phone. All of a sudden she felt a strong amount of force crash into her which sent her to the floor. Luckily nothing came flying out of her bag, except her phone, but she was looking for that so maybe that was a good thing.
Ariel picked up her phone and glanced at it. The word unkown flashed on the screen. Well if she didn't know them then they could leave a voicemail. Ariel rejected the call and looked up to see who she had bumped into. It was a boy, she gave him a smile followed by a small embarressed laugh. "Ugh I'm sorry I should have been looking where I was going." Said Ariel as she stuck her phone back into her bag and then got up off of the floor.

Terry sighed as he walked through the mall. He wasn't a big fan of the mall, but he had got an email from one of his distance cousin in Los Angeles and her birthday was coming. Since Terry hated Los Angeles and he didn't even remember what was left of his family, he never flew out there to see them, but he always bought his cousins whatever they wanted for their birthday. After a long hour at the mall, Terry finally had a gift for his cousin and was on his way out when be bumped into a girl and knocked her over. Terry quickly set down his bag and said, "I am sorry, I should have been looking where I was going, I have just been here an hour looking for a gift for a cousin I don't even remember meeting and I just wanted to leave, and I should have been more careful, and I am so sorry." He weakly smiled at Ariel when she apologized as well and said, "it wasn't your fault."

Ariel brushed herself off as she listened to the boy apologise. She got slightly confused as he told her why he had been at the mall and for how long, but it all made sense at the end. When you want to leave a place you want to leave. Ariel laughed softly as the boy told her he just wanted to leave. "It's ok, now harm done." Said Ariel with a friendly smile. "Oh I'm Ariel by the way, Ariel Bennett." She said plesently with her hand extended for the boy to shake. For a moment Ariel scanned the boys features, she felt as though she had seen him spomewhere before, she didn't know. Ariel waited for the boy to introduce himself back.

Terry smiled as the Ariel said that there was no harm done, he felt a little better knowing she wasn't mad at him. Terry shook Ariel's hand as she introduced herself and said, "nice to meet you Ariel, I am Terry Parks." Terry took a quick glance over at his cousins gift and quickly picked it up, not wanting someone to steal it.

Ariel shook Terrys hand and noticed the bag that must have contained his cousins present. "You wanna go for a walk and maybe have a chat?" Asked Ariel casually pointing towards the exit.
(Ugh I have no muse at the moment. Sorry.)

Terry smiled and said, "sure." It had been awhile since he had a normal conversation with someone, and after todays hectic struggle of finding a gift, he need to talk to someone.

Ariel smiled and turned back round towards the exit. "Cool." Said Ariel with a smile as she began walking out of the mall. "So Terry have you lived in New York long?" Asked Ariel trying to start off a casual conversation.

"twenty-five years," replied Terry, following Ariel, "I was born and raised here. Well, raised isn't completely true, my parents died when I was a kid, so I wasn't really raised. What about you?"

Ariel raised her eyebrows in surprise as she would never have guessed that Terry was twenty five years old. he looked younger than that. "Twenty five years, bloody hell you look young for your age." Said Ariel as she looked round at Terry. "Me I've lived in New York for a year now." Said Ariel as they exited the mall. They continued to walk going past random shops and small cafes. "So how olds your cousin gunna be if you don't mind me asking." Asked Ariel.

Terry laughed and said, "thanks." Terry smiled as Ariel said she had been living in New York for a year and asked, "so where did you live before coming here?" When she brought up his cousin Terry thought about it and said, "I think, but I am not sure, she is fourteen, I honestly have no clue, I haven't visited them or had any real contact with them because they live in Los Angeles and I don't even remember them."

Ariel continued walking with Terry as he asked her about where she lived. "I have rented an apartment. You know the building that is about a ten minute walk from the park. You can see the building from the park." Said Ariel as she described what the actual apartment building looked like. She just couldn't remember what it was called. "Wow that must suck not seeing your family. Do sometimes fly out to them?" Asked Ariel looking back at Terry.

"cool, it sounds like a nice place to live," replied Terry. He then frowned a little when Ariel ask if he visited and said, "no, I just send them gifts. They are barely related to me and I hate Los Angeles, and don't remember them, I lost my memory soon after I got into high school, so I don't even know what my cousins look like."

Ariel listened to Terry tell her about his cousins and the rest of his family and also that he had lost his memory. Ariel looked back round at Terry with a small frown on her face. "How did you loose your memory? that is if you don't mind me asking." Said Ariel. She didn't want to seem like she was telling Terry to tell her. He didn't have to if he didn't want to and she would completely understand the reason why.

"it is ok, to be honest, no one has told me yet, all I know is it was from some sort of head injury. All I remember about it was that it was raining, and that I fell and landed on something soft, which is weird cause I was found in an ally," replied Terry

"That is weird." Said Ariel. "Maybe someone moved you." Suggested Ariel as that made more sense to how he was found in an alley but why would someone move him instead of call an ambulance. "So since your've been here for twenty odd years, you know anything fun to do?" Asked Ariel changing the subject.
