Slightly confused by Lyf's sudden surge in affection, Orion thought nothing of it. She seemed to be a very spunky girl, never afraid to say or do for that matter, what's on her mind. He admired that, but at the same time he was receiving mixed signals : he couldn't tell if he was experiencing her normal personality, or if she was flirting with him. Either way, the cafe idea did seem like a good idea.
"What do you think, Alyssa? Any place in particular in mind?"
Though they shared almost completely opposite personality traits, Orion was also slightly perplexed as to how to interact with Alyssa as well. She seemed to quiet, so timid that he couldn't tell if she was simply shy or annoyed. He didn't want to lay on the kindness too thick and patronize her but he also didn't want to become insensitive to how she truly felt. As people he already considered friends, Orion was constantly evaluating from his perspective.

As usual Lauren was running late, although she didn't make the effort to rush at a hundred mile an hour to class. If she was late she was late. Lauren rounded a corner and jumped slightly as she saw a small group of peple, two she knew. "Oh hey Orion hey Lyf." Said Lauren. She gave the other a girl a friendly smile. "Ugh can't believe I'm late AGAIN!" SAid Lauren rather loudly. She opened her locker and stuffed her bag into it and then shut it close with a slight bang. She sighed and then faced the others. "So what you lot up to?" She asked now abit more calmer.

"Ditching class and heading to the cafe.Your invited if you can afford to ditch..."Lyf said, her arm wrapped around Orrions. She put her hand on her hip and stares expentantly at Lauren. She remembered what Alex had told her. Act normal!Don't let it slip that we and you have powers. So all Lyf had to do was treat people how she would normally treat them...

Lauren quickly glanced at the three students standing infront of her. She gave a slight shrug. "Why not. I'm already late so I may aswell skip atleast the first lesson and if I happen to miss a few more, ah well who cares." Said Lauren. At this moment she was slightly pissed off to care about her studies and she just wanted to get out of the school. Lauren turned back round and unlocked her locker where she quickly pulled out her purse from her bag and shoved it into her levis jeans pocket. Now she was ready to go. "Ok is everyone ready?" She asked closing her locker again.

"Looks that way."
Orion was slightly surprised to find that Lauren also attended the same school. What were the odds that Orion, Lauren and Lyf all lived in the same building and attended the same school? Not to mention the fact that they all had powers. He felt sort of constricted with his arm held by Lyf, but he wasn't really uncomfortable so he said nothing.

Lauren smiled and nodded. "Ok lets get going." She said and began to walk towards the exit. "So Orion how are you feeling after the party?" Asked Lauren looking back behind her.

"Now that you mention it, the hang over medicine I've taken just started working. Now, I just need to get some food in me. What about you guys? I don't even remember how it ended."
Orion laughed a little. When he had woken up that morning, Nate and several others were lying around his apartment, completely incapacitated. At the time, he was slightly annoyed, but after they all left, it seemed funny to him now.

Lauren smiled slightly as Orion told her he had a hangover. "Ah well I'm one of those hateful b!tches cos I don't get hangovers, so I woke up perfectly fine." Said Lauren with a cute laugh. "Awww well I'm glad to here that the medicine is kicking in." Said Lauren she slowed down to walk next to orion so she could talk to him properly without having to look over her shoulder or walk backwards. "The last thing I remember was Nate talking some guy about winning something." Said Lauren frowning slightly as she tried to remember back.

Alyssa chuckled slightly. "I had intended to suggest the cafe.... since it probably has something to help that hangover. Seems Lyf and I are thinking a bit alike this morning." When Lauren arrived she lapsed into silence, since this girl was also a stranger to her. Once it seemed the group had gotten past the greetings towards their newly arrived friend, Alyssa spoke up once again... to introduce herself.
"Hi. By how many people i've met this morning it feels like I hardly go to school here. I'm Alyssa." She grinned and waved slightly at Lauren.

Lauren heard a girls voice speak to her. She turned round and smiled at the girl. "Hiya I'm Lauren, Lauren winters." Said Lauren as she extended her arm for the girl to shake. "I don't think I've seen you around before are you new here?" Asked Lauren with an eyebrow slightly corked.

Lyf heard Alyssa introduce herself to Lauren. She didn't join in. The less people knew her the better, it seemed these days. Lyf's thoughts drifted back to Alec. He was so nice...what was so unique about him???Lyf quickly remembered and shot a look towards Lauren. But she wasn't looking back. Lyf let fo of Orrions arm and shuffled over to Lauren.
"Hey!I need to talk to you!It's about the new powers!"Lyf said whispering in Laurens ear.

Lauren was waiting for a reply from Alyssa when she heard someone whisper down her ear. Lauren gave a nod and turned back to Alyssa. "I'll be with ya in a minute." Said Lauren with a friendly smile. She stopped walking so her and Lyf can talk privatly whislt walking behind Orion and Alyssa. "What is it?" Asked Lauren to Lyf barely above a whisper.

"Well...I met someone else who has powers. And his are incredible!!"Lyf said, gushing over Alec. She looked over at Lauren with a dreamy far-off look. She was completely 'for' this guy. They were perfect together!
"But!He's so nice!And he's perfect!And he is drop-dead gorgeaus!"Lyf said squeling like a little girl. SHe looked over at Lauren with another grin.
"I think he's the 'one for me'!"Lyf said with a wide smile...

Lauren listened carefully and smiled when she saw how Lyf said she had found a guy that she seemed really interested in. Lauren was happy for after what had happened between Lyf and her now ex who she couldn't remember his name. "Aww well I'm happy for you Lyf. You know if you really like you should deffinatly go for him." Said Lauren. "And it's also cool that you have found someone who has powers, atleast you'll be able to tell him everything and be yourself." Said Lauren quietly to Lyf.

"I mean...he called me Aphrodite and I called him Ares. And it felt so normal!"Lyf said shaking her hands and raising her voice slightly.
