Lilith smirked slightly, but it wasn't a mean smirk, it was good-natured and teasing, a look few had ever seen.
"I figured you say that," she replied, nodding slightly, as if it was an age old argument between the girls. "But I think it depends on the person, as to which love can be stronger, but maybe I'm just biased, in that I already have more love for the defenseless, voiceless creations, than I do for humankind."
She stopped, and blinked suddenly, unsure exactly where that last comment had come from, it didn't even sound like her voice, it have been ethereal, and so soft.

Lyf shook her head expertady, feeling deja vu.
"No. Love is the feeling when both humans are in love with each other. The voicless creatures are mere pets in a way. Get it?I don't know how to put this in words!"Lyf said arguably.

"Pets only because humans choose to make them so," Lilith said vehemently. She started to continue and then stopped. Sighing, she shook her head. "I don't know if I can beleive the type of love you speak of is even possible, it has never shown itself to me. But I know that the love I feel when in Nature's embrace is real, I feel it, in the overwhelming joy of seeing it, and the pain of seperation. Maybe your kind of love will overshadow that, but I'll never know."
She turned quickly on her heel, surprised that she had shared so muchof herself with this girl, yet feeling that she had to. She started to walk away again, this time her pace was slow, and her head down, as she thought of the conversation, memories that weren't her own floating through her head.

"Lilith!Wiat!Lilith!"Lyf said as she ran up to catch up with her.
"The love I speak of...it will come to you. You merely have to embrace it.Never let go and always be thruthful to it...I didn't mean to piss you off about the Naure thing, it's just through my eyes, I see Nature as my home, not my lover."Lyf said with a surprised look on her face.
"Well...I had better get back to class...It was nice talkin' to you....for once...."Lyf trailed off. She gave Lilith a quick hug and hurried to her classroom.

Lilith was surprised when Lyf came rushing up to her, and even more so when she apologized. She was so astonished by the whole thing, she hadn't even begun to digest the words before Lyf hugged her. She simly nodded numbly, and then snapped out of it as the hurried off.
"Surprisingly enough, I agree with you," she called after her, unsure if she would even hear. "Talking to you wasn't half bad."
The conversation, and strange feeling she had expirenced during it was still floating in her head, plus Lyf's last words on love. She still didn't know if she beleived she was meant for love. If someone had asked her two years ago, she would have went on about it, about marrying, having children, and living a normal, happy life. But since her sixteenth birthday, she didn't feel like she was meant for love like that, and wasn't sure she missed the idea. It had been replaced, by the unending thoughts of her baby as she had come to think of it. Why suddenly she felt like the earth was her special project, belinging to her alone, and her responsibility, she had no idea, but the feeling got stronger every day.

As Lyf was rushing back to her Math class, she had that strange sense of deja- vu again. Had she ever talked to Lilith before?Only to pick on her terrible choice in clothing. It was different to have a really heartfelf talk with someone. Especially Lilith. Lyf heard Liliths last words and flashe the rock on signal back to her. She was changing all right. And she didn't know if was for worse or better. But she was leaning towards the latter.

Lilith smiled half-heartedly as she caught Lyf's signal. Not everday something like this happens, she thought, and then shook her head, moving off to her own class.
