"I don't think I've had it for very long...I've been hurt a million times before."
Troy moved his hand to the side of his neck. He got a scar there when he was twelve, when he crashed his bike and fell onto a rock. It had been a pretty thick scar, and was easily noticed if you looked behind his dark hair. The scar had disappeared. His eyes widened as he slowly moved his hand away. Had he developed it out of nowhere? Was he a power-stealer, like Rogue from X-Men? Almost anything seemed reasonable at this point...It seemed like the world was going crazy.
"...Can you still heal?"

Lyf, completely blown by the change of events, stared ntently.
"You can heal yourself?!?!You are so lucky!"Lyf cinfirmed with a grin. She looked up at Troy.
Crap!, she thought, he probably knows I think he is the hottest thing!How embarrasing!Even for me!Okay!Relaz!Gotta clear my head that's all. Okay. What do I like?Shopping, Troy, Shoes, Troy, Jewlery, Troy!crap!
Lyf was starting to feel a slight blush creep upon her cheek.

Alex's eyes widened as he saw Troy's wound heal just like Lauren could. "You have power mimicry. I saw information about it when me and Lauren were researching on the net. You copy the powers of others and retain them for when you need them. " Alex said still looking at the wound. "Thats how you had telekinesis. You must have walked past me at some stage and picked up my power."

Lyf was shaking her head disbeleivingly.
"You mean I didn't get anything and you all got the kick-ass powers?How lame!"Lyf said kinda pissily. She flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"Wait!Maybe I have what Troy has!Or Lauren!Or maybe even you Alex!Come on!Let's figure out what I can do!"Lyf said a bit to happy about the powers.
She took a step away from the group and streched ou ther arms.
"Okay, give me your best shot!"she said weakly and cringing away.

Alex smiled a little and raised an eyebrow. "Are you kidding. You dont just test to see if you have powers. We discovered these by accident. Whats makes you think you have any anyway." Alex said now focusing on Lyf

"I have a almost concrete idea about the philiosophy of love!"Lyf said with a stonished look on her face.

"Maybe...Why would YOU get them!"Lyf shot back.

Lauren looked at Troys hand were the wound had been. he asked if she could steal heal herself. She wasn't sure. "I don't know." Said Lauren. She felt around in her pockets and found a nail file, she didn't even remember bringing one so how it got there was beyond her. She held it to her hand and cut herself. The second the metal file was removed the neat cut it started healing. Within seconds her hand was back to normal. "Yup I can still heal." She said happily.
The conversation was starting to get intense. Lyf now wanted them to attack to see if she has any powers. "Well I'm not gunna hurt you." Said Lauren with a slight shrug. "Maybe your like an empath or something." Said Lauren at this point she was guessing everything. "An empath is someone who feels what other people feel." Said Lauren seeing if this had helped Lyf in any way. Probably not. She was still figuring out how she got these powers.

Troy smiled again. He could have had more powers that he didn't even know about! He had a vast potential, and didn't know how much he was capable of doing. As he looked over and saw Lauren's wound heal again, he smiled. He was like Rogue 2.0...He could absorb the powers of others without stealing them. It was a win-win situation!
Looking over at Lyf, Troy laughed a bit. She looked like she was ready to take a punch, but she then ran away. He shrugged a bit. Maybe she did have a power, but a less obvious one? Like empathy, or a super memory? There was only one way to find out.
"Well, you can call me crazy, Lyf, but in an hour, clap three times."

"What?"Lyf said blushing a little when Troy looked at her. She wondered if Troy could still read her thoughts.
"Why clap?Why not run or something?"she asked a little clueslessy. She looked over at Lauren questioningly.

"Listne Lyf no-one here has a power to see if you have one unless you want me to try and lift you up, but you might end up with something broken. Mybe Troy mightr have something in his bag of powers that might help." he said now turning to Troy

Lauren saw Lyf look at her questiongly. She was about to explain the power abit more but Alex began speaking. She turned her head towards him and listened. "Yeah coz Troy can copy your power." Said Lauren with a slight shrug. "Maybe you don't have an active power like we do." She said randomly. It was actually kinda hard trying to figure how these powers work and how strong they were.

"Yea maybe if you touch Troy he might be able to feel if you have a power. Otherwise I don't think you have one." Alex looked at a an empty soda can. It floated in mid air for a moment then came to his hand. "I am slowly comming to control my powers. But I discovered them a few days ago. If you do have a power you would know about it. Trust me."

Lyf looked up at Alex and froze.
She had to go up and touch Troy?Wow, things move fast.
"Maybe some people develop later than others"Lyf said to Alex.
"I mean what if my powers are coming around more slowly than yours or Laurens or Troys."Lyf said with a sly smile. She looked over at Troy and smiled.She walked up to him and flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"Well...maybe Alex is right...about how you can find my powers..."Lyf said still smiling goofily as another blush replaced the old one. She gabbed his hand in her own and looked down.
"How long do I have to do this?"Lyf asked in a small voice. She had never been this way around a boy before. And everyone knew it. She got what she wanted when she wanted. That was how she got Zach...and lost him.

This was weird for Troy, to say the least, but it was a good way of trying to discover Lyf's powers, if she had any. Usually, when he met a new person with an 'ability,' he felt a little weird after absorbing it. Now, however, he felt exactly the same. As much as he wanted her to be 'special' like him, Lauren, and Alex, he doubted it. Still, he smiled as Lyf held onto his hand. He tried to refrain from blushing, though it only worked for so long.
"I don't really feel any different. You can just...Umm...Let go whenever you want."

Lyf let go quickly and blushed a little.
"This blows..."she said after a bit of awkward silence.
"How in the hell did this happen?"she said as she kicked a rock to a tree. It hit the tree and came barreling back at Lys. Lyf lifted her hand up to protect herself. The rock stopped rightin front of her hand. Lyf looked surprised at everyone and dropped her hand, as she did the rock followed suit.
